Wild steelhead are locally adapted to their home stream; they are unique, mysterious, and inspiring. The river sustains them and the fish sustain the habitat they rely on to complete their complex life history from spawner courtship to rearing juvenile and returning adult. Live release of those fish you bring to hand is an investment in the future abundance of steelhead.
